ITEM: Antique Figural Church Stained Glass Window
DESCRIPTION: This stained glass window depicts St. Elizabeth of Hungary holding a bouquet of flowers. This is one of a set of sixteen stained glass windows from the old Poor Claires Monastery of Chicago built in about 1870 and demolished in the early 1970s they were made by one of the German studios. Many of these stained glass windows have major damage and are in need of restoration. See SGW-200A, Saint Joeseph (first window on page 2), for an example of what these windows look like fully repaired and cleaned. The prices listed include repair of the window.
