DESCRIPTION: We removed this stained glass window from a church in Philadelphia. Center window only. This gothic stained glass window with it’s brilliant color scheme is one of the finest crucifixion scene windows made in the Munich tradition. It is attributed to one of the famous German studios known for their superb quality both in design and craftsmanship. Munich studios were contracted to make stained glass windows for many of the prominent catholic churches and cathedrals throughout the U.S.
