Very high quality set of 3 windows. Design is a hybrid of prairie school and art nouveau and were likely designed by one of the prominent architects of the prairie school era. Windows were removed from a castle in Michigan over 40 years ago. Glass is set in zinc and some of the border strips are layered over the glass. Colored glass is iridescent, and likely gold was used to enhance the iridescence. The circles are reminiscent of the famous Coonley Playhouse windows designed by Frank Lloyd Wright. Would make spectacular French door inserts!
